## What's included

- **One till for the front desk.** Collect payments for drop-ins, memberships, and shop items from one point of sale device, phone wallet payment or record cash payments in the system.
- **Nothing left to chase at closing.** Cash waiting to be collected is flagged on the live sign-in feed, and every payment lands on the member's record and the session it was for.
- **Membership cards on every member's phone.** Members get a digital card with a QR code for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so staff and the kiosk can check a membership with a quick scan.

### What can we take payments for?

You can take payments for program fees, paid memberships, membership dues and other charges. Payments can be collected online (credit card), at the kiosk or at the front desk (credit card, phone wallet, cash), and each one is recorded to update the member's or visitor's record in OpenCommunity.

### How do we see if someone still owes a payment?

OpenCommunity gives you a clear overview of current and outstanding payments, and every member record shows its full payment history. Because payments are recorded automatically with sign-ins and registrations, your balances are always up to date and nobody reconciles a spreadsheet at month end.

### Does OpenCommunity offer a point of sale (POS) system?

Yes, OpenCommunity offers a point of sale for your front desk. You can sell drop-ins, memberships, dues and shop items from one till, by cash or on a card reader that can be acquired as part of the payments capability - if you already have a device, we can integrate with the existing ones. Either way, every sale shows up in your OpenCommunity reporting data.

### Which payment methods can we accept?

With a card reader connected at the desk, you can take tap, chip and swipe payments with debit cards, credit cards and mobile wallets. Cash is recorded at the desk and confirmed as received in OpenCommunity.

### Can members get a digital membership card?

Yes, every member gets a digital card on their phone with their name, member number and a QR code, and can add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Staff, the sign-in kiosk and partner businesses scan the code to check the membership is current, so nobody needs a printed card.
