> Sell T-shirts, tote bags and fundraising items online or at the front desk, with orders and payments recorded alongside everything else.

Sell in person at the front desk or online on your homepage: OpenCommunity records every order and payment together with everything else.

## What's included

- **Record all your merchandise sales in one place.** Process payments at the front desk (point of sale system), your sign-in kiosk or in your homepage's online store.
- **Easy-to-use inventory management.** See what is in stock and get notifications before you run out. Accept merchandise orders on backorder when an item sells out.
- **Automatic tax receipt issuance and delivery.** When eligible, items sold by donation automatically ask the customer whether they'd like a tax receipt issued.

## Questions and answers

### What if we mostly sell merchandise at the front desk?

You can always sell merchandise at the front desk and take payments by OpenCommunity's system to your payment processing provider (e.g. Square). All payments are recorded alongside member or program fees, so all visitor data lives in the same place.

### Can we sell items by donation and issue tax receipts?

Yes, a product can be sold by donation, such as a tote bag given for a gift, and the basket shows the part that is eligible for a receipt before anyone pays. Buyers are asked if they'd like the receipt so it can be issued on the spot (or later on request).

### Can people buy from our shop online?

Yes, the same products can be sold at the front desk, on the kiosk, in the member portal and in your online store, and you can embed the shop on your own website with a snippet. Orders placed online wait at the till until they are collected, and stock counts update everywhere.
